Abstract submission
Abstract submissions are welcome for consideration for the FoodBooster 2026 Conference.
The overall theme of the FoodBooster 2026 Conference is emerging tools to improve our nutritional environment. Presentations can take the form of a 10-minute oral technical communication, or that of a poster presentation. All posters related to the overall conference theme are welcome. For the oral presentations, this theme will be further examined in three sub-thematic sessions: probiotics, prebiotics and bioactive peptides, as these three ingredients are central to the IIS FoodBooster.
Abstracts for poster or technical presentations must be submitted before February 20, 2026 11:59 PM (CET) using the following form: FoodBooster 2026 Abstract Submission

General Guidelines
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- Abstracts must be submitted using the dedicated form: FoodBooster 2026 Abstract Submission
- Abstracts must include a concise title, all co-authors and their affiliations, and maximum 6 keywords (optional).
- Abstracts (main text) should not exceed 2,500 characters, including spaces.
- Please structure your abstract with the following items: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions
- The presenting author is available to physically present at the conference on 13th May 2026, in Liège.
- The presenting author must register and pay in full by the deadline indicated in the abstract review outcome email. In the absence of registration and full payment, the abstract will be removed from the program.
- The text of the abstract, along with the names and affiliations, poster and/or additional documents as requested, will be published on the conference website and in the abstract document, and this will not raise any copyright issues.
Oral Presentation Guidelines
- Technical presentations held during the thematic sessions should not exceed 10 minutes + 3 minutes of questions from the audience.
- The PowerPoint and the presentation must be in English.
- We recommend to use the widescreen (16:9) screen size.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
- The posters must be presented in vertical A0 format (841 mm x 1189 mm).
- We offer the opportunity to pitch your poster with one static slide, during the Flash Poster Sessions. The pitch should not exceed 1 minute and is not a summary of the poster, but rather a teaser that encourages participants to go and see it.
